Trip....

Well, when I went to my parents house, I called a friend, one of my bestestest friends in the whole wide world, and told her how much I had missed doing the traditional Thanksgiving at her house and then going to mine to celebrate with both our families cause they eat at different times. Well, then about 30 minutes alter, I showed up at her Momma's doorstep. No one knew I was coming, everyone was suprised. And I thought Myjic needed the suprise after the week she had. See her blog at http://myjicliveson.blogspot.com/
And to top it all off, we got to suprise our other bestestest friend when we showed up at her doorstep too. It was wonderful. I had alot of fun doing that. My friends needed a pick-me-up. And I gave it to them. :) I love you guys!!!

Thanksgiving trips...

I went to my parents house for Thanksgiving, unexpectedly. What is it about traveling that always makes you more tired than anything else? Sometimes I hate to travel because all you are doing is sitting in a car, and somehow it makes you tired. With all that rest, you'd think you would be all rested up, but when you get to where you are going, you're all tired. And the longer you travel, the more tired you are. What law of physics is this? Maybe I should write a reflection paper on this for my philosophy class.

Hmmmm....I thought of a title

For my next reflection paper, I think i am going to write on Descartes theory of I think, therefore I am. Since I am sick and can't think very well, does that mean I don't exist very well? That might be a possibility to be explored as a reflection paper.... I ony hope my philosophy professor finds it as amusing as I do....?

Frosting...?

Sorry the frosting recipe is slow in coming, but in my defense, I have been sick. I have a wonderful recipe for all of you out there who have been sick with the creeping crud (as I like to call it).
Ginger Tea
1 coffee cup of boiling water
1 tea bag of any flavor
1/4 tsp ginger
sugar to taste

boil the water, steep your tea for about 3-4 min. add ginger and sugar, stir really well, and enjoy. It will help make you feel lots better very soon.

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake

Before you ewwwww this, try it, it is a wonderful recipe!! So miost and yummy!
New recipe: Chocolate Mayonaise Cake
2 cups unsifted flour
2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 2/3 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup mayonnaise
1 1/3 cups water

Grease and flour 2 9 inch round pans or a bundt pan (I do not recommend an angel food cake pan, outside gets really crusty before the inside is done). In a medium bowl stir together flour, cocoa, soda, and powder, set aside. In a large bowl with a mixer at high speed beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low, beat in mayonnaise. Add lour mix in 4 additions alternately with water, begining and ending with the flour mix. Pour into prepared pans. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks. Frost as desired. Garnish with alomonds.

Modifications:
Use rum extract instead of vanilla.
If you can find it, use the Hershey's Special Dark cocoa instead of regular unsweetened cocoa, this is really good.
Use mint extract or almond extract or even a little amaretto instead of the vanilla.

Enjoy!
Next week: A really good frosting...

Philosophy Class

Urg! I think my philosophy class is going to drive me nuts!! We have to write reflection papers about once a week. I am running out of things to write reflection papers on.
Although on the plus side, I found a recipe that I have been looking for a long time. And then I made my own modefications, it turned out to be delicious.
Halloween was fun, I made a hippie costume for a friend's 2 yr old, he was absolutely adorable.
Well, I guess that's all for now.

Introduction

Hi, I'm Crazy, just wanted to let you know that before you read, and just to get the warning out of the way. No, crazy is not my name, but I am Crazy with a capital C. I got a blog just to post, so there might not be too much here of interest to many. I am currently in school, so everything else gets pushed to the back burner, that's what happens when you take extra classes. My husband is deployed to Iraq right now. *yea, support our troops* So I guess that's all for right now.
