OMG!!! HE GOT ME ADDICTED!!!!

MY husband and I have found that we enjoy playing City of Heroes together.....He got it a couple months ago, and then I got it at the first of the month. I already have 2 characters, one is a level 13 and one is a level 6. My house is a mess and all I can do is sit behind my laptop trying to level my characters up.....it's that addicting. Actually my house isnt that bad, I do my chores before I get on the game. But it is a new toy that I haven't wanted to put down yet.

Butterfly Migration

I really love my husband. The other day he called me outside just to share the sight of about a hundred little monarch butterflies flitting around the backyard. It was a wonderful sight that we just stood cuddling and watching. And then that night we had the joy to experience a Japanese Owl Moth. We were standing outside before bed talking, when this huge creature came up. At first I thought it was a bat it was so big, then we saw it was a huge moth that was absolutely gorgeous. We sat watching it until it flew off and became one with the night. It was a great day.

My house, the Halfway House

Sometimes I think my husband and I will never be alone. We moved one roommate out (he was supposed to go to SC, but ended up in the hospital), but before that, my brother's Ladyfriend moved in, then my brother moved back from Florida to be with her while she finishes out school. Today we are expecting one of the military guys we know back from Iraq, and he is staying with us for a while because of a divorce, then at the end of Septemeber, one of the other miltary guys we know is coming back from Iraq and staying with us til he finds a place. After all this I have put my foot down and said NO MORE!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I have not lived alone in the four years we have been together, and we are quite ready for it. Oh well, at least we are getting rent out of these people. Money is always good, helps pay the bills.

Vacations and Stress

Sorry I haven't blogged lately, but I was on vacation for a month, and then sick. Two days into my vacation, I get a phone call saying my roommate had a stroke. At 29 he had a stroke! And then he was doing ok, and they were trying to find a facility to release him to...a rehabilitative facility. The his stomach ruptured and he went septic, and then he got a blood clot in his leg, and now there is a mass by one of his kidneys. When it rains, it pours for him. And then to top it all off, as we were coming home from our vacation, my husband had to take me to the emergency room for a kidney infection. Lovely, isn't it? All this has just got me thinking about my own health problems and the fact that I am overweight and that was part of what caused my roommate's stroke, and I keep wondering if I am next? Plus I have the blood clotting disorder. I don't know. And then to top it all off, I don't know if I will be able to go back to school this semester or not, I still have to call the college.

Life Lately

I have been so very busy lately.  We went out to dinner Friday night with a friend and her two daughters and ended up taking her to the emergency room with heart problems and they kept her overnight.  We got her two daughters overnight.  Emi is three, and very headstrong, and Katei has hit that impossible age between twelve and twenty-five (she’s 12).  But Auntie Skye gets along great with both of them, as long as Emi isn’t tired.  (
I have been trying in vain to clean my house, and like always, it seems to be a futile struggle.  Oh well, when I pass to the next world, I can say although my house wasn’t clean, I truly lived life and loved it.
I found a cute, new little german cafĂ© that just opened near my house.  The food there is AMAZING!!!!  Sexx-C and I both had full dinner sized lunches and dessert and I bought two Kinder Eggs and it was only $29!!  Myjic, I am gonna have to take you there when you guys come visit!  Even if it is just for the desserts!  OMG!!!!  I about died it was so good.
Oh well, I guess I had better go clean since I have a few extra minutes before bed.

Sickness, Puppies, and Life

Sorry I haven’t blogged lately, I have been sick with a chest cold.  Lovely stuff, to be sure.  I have been watching the puppies roam about the house inspecting things.  They seem to do this at the change of every season.  I don’t know if the younger ones picked it up from my older dog, or if it is something that dogs just tend to do.  Although, I must say, I have never noticed it in any of the dogs we had grrowing up.  Hagrid, and now Abby and Tia, will roam about the house sniffing every corner, and do the same in the yard for about three or four days every time the season changes.  It is like they are taking an inventory or something.  It is rather comforting though, to have the notion that my older dog loves me so much that he makes sure I am safe.  He has complete faith in me.  I wonder sometimes if that is what it is going to feel like to have a child.  Hagrid is completely dependant on me, even to the point of his happiness.  If I am away from him for any length of time, he lays down and pines for me.  I don’t think this is very healthy, but considering his background of abuse, it might be the only survival for him.  Here lately, Abby has had a fetish for my toes.  I think I am getting over dogs licking my toes just simply because she does it like seventeen million times a day.  If I am wearing socks or shoes or slippers, she tries to go through them to get to my toes.   She is really detirmined.

Butterflies

The other day I had the extreme pleasure of sitting on my back porch and watching a little purple butterfly for over a half hour.  Then it flew out of sight to go explore the vast reaches of the front yard.  I told a friend about this, and she asked me if I had had nothing to do or if I was bored.  I told her no, I had plenty of housework to do, and that I had been far from bored, I was actually in the middle of a tv show when I stepped outside with all the puppies and became entranced by this small purple butterfly fluttering from flower to flower and so on.  It was a beautiful sight, controlled and yet completely chaotic.  I think sometimes we just have to stop and watch the butterflies….and expect some to never understand why.

A Brief Glance on Society

In this day of bleak surroundings,
     Speaking statistically,
Divorce rate at fifty percent
And one’s longest commitments
  Being to their cell phone
And their reflection,
It should be of little surprise
     To see children raised
In psuedo homes with faux parents,
It is of no great consequence.

Going on a Mini Vacation

Going to Pigeon Forge to meet my parents. My brother is finally leaving, it's kinda bittersweet. He was only supposed to stay for two weeks, that turned into almost four months. It's been all good. He has helped alot around the house, believe it or not. But anyways, we are going to Pigeon Forge to meet my parents to trade them some of my stuff I was forced to leave at their house Yule for my brother. Sexx-C is kinda upset, but that's alright, she might be joining him soon, depending on how things work out. But either way, we are still getting two days in the mountains. And my wonderful, perfect husband woke me up this morning, he had the night shift last night, and he woke me up with a single red rose this morning. Is that not sweet? I keep telling him how perfect he is, but he doesn't believe me.

Silly Rats...

Yes, Those are my rats sleeping in their food dish. I wonder if they are trying to tell me something...either their food dish is clean enough to sleep in, or their food dish need filling....or they are dreaming of food...or they are just really silly. I love having rats, they are always doing something really cool, or funny, or silly.

Is it clean yet????

I have been trying desparately to clean my house.  It seems a never ending battle.  What I wouldn’t give for a couple of free paid help…if that makes any sense.  I am about ready to throw my hands up and say forget it.  But then I look around my house and I know how good it can look and I get back to work, when I am not procrastinating on the computer…  (

Nature's Bathtub

We had a pretty violent thunderstorm last night/this morning.  I love thunderstorms.  They are unpredictable and always a spectacular thing of pure raw nature to watch.  After I watch a particularly intense Thunderstorm, I always feel cleansed afterwards.  It’s like the heavens opened up and bathed my body and soul in the purest water in all of creation.  If the lightening isn’t too close, I also like to dance in the rain.

Here You Go Myjic!!

Sorry everyone, I have been lagging in my posting efforts.  I have been so very busy.  But I called Myjic the other day and told her about a dream I had, and she suggested I put it up here for 2 reasons. 1) a good laugh. 2) anyone have any ideas interpretations?
Ok, It started out that BabyLove and I got PCS (transferred for you non- military folks), and we were looking at new houses to buy.  We came across this GORGEOUS house sitting on about 20 acres.  The real estate agent refused to step foot on the property, just handed us the keys and told us she would be here waiting when we were finished looking.  Well the current owner showed up and he also refused to go onto the property, said the place was haunted.  Well, BabyLove and I went up to the house and found the most beautiful house I have ever seen, but then we were confronted by a Native American Chief Sprit.  He told us to get off his land and that no one would ever live there, etc.  we asked what the problem was, and he showed us the burial grounds that happened to be located on this particular piece of property.  The old owner had started to build a mother-in-law’s cottage right on the burial grounds.  We promised that if the spirits would let us move in, we would take down the mother in law’s cottage very carefully as to not disturb the burial grounds.  We finally got permission and went back to the end of the driveway to ask the price of the house and property.   We were told $500.  yes five hundred.  So needless to say we took it.  Well, then time skips forward about at least a year or so, and we have some friends visiting, a couple that I used to live with, for now we will call them Jade and Vlad.  Vlad and I were walking down to my garden, and he tried to go in the Burial Grounds (by this time we had enclosed it in wrought iron fencing t make sure everyone left it alone), he mixed up the Burial Grounds with my garden because they were both gated in with wrought iron fencing.  The Native American Chief Spirit showed back up and Vlad apologized for almost going in there with out permission.  Jade approaches and we all begin talking and somehow Jade and Vlad get invitied to a ritual that is going on that night.  Some kind of spring celebration ritual.  Well, time flashes forward again, and now it is nighttime with a full moon and Myjic and Cowboy and a native American midwife spirit are at the top of a hill with all of us and some other friends and family making a circle around the base of a hill .  The ritual we preformed made the midwife spirit corporeal so that she could help Myjic give birth to a baby.  Oh and by the way, Myjic was completely naked and covered in ancient symbols done in some sort of body paint.
I bet Freud would have a field day with this one.

The Ants Go Marching One By One......

Well, it's spring now, and the ants have come out of hibernation and directly into my kitchen again. I think they are hiding out underneath the house and I am going to have to bomb or fog or something, maybe I will just hire a professional. I dunno. All I know is I am tired of fighting the ants.

Been Away

My husband and I just got back from Arkansas. We went to see hhis parents and brother. His mom and dad got two horses, Dunny and Batman. Dunny is really laid back and cool and Batman is a little high strung. Both are gorgeous animals. They really liked to see me coming towards the fence cause they knew I usually had an apple or a carrot or something. :) I like to spoil pets, babies too. My next door neighbor has the cutest little girl, and I am ALWAYS buying her something. I get accused of spoiling her....naw... I wouldn't do a thing like that, not me, never!
*best innocent voice* :)
I miss my other baby! My friend's three year old, B, is precious too. But they moved to Ohio, about 8 hours away. :(
hmmm, besides puppy training Abby, there hasn't been much else going on. Abby has had her 2nd vet appt. A parvo booster, parvo is really bad in this area, so we dont play with that. She has another 4 shots to go before she is done with the set, then after this, she gets her shots once a year, just like Hagrid. I need to get them some frontline or something like that...I think the fleas are going to be really bad this year. OK, I guess that is everything this time around.

New Addition to the Family

Meet Abby, short for Abyss, the newest member of our household. She was BabyLove's Yule present. She is a precious fullbred Rottweiler. We have a few bad habits to break, but for the most part she is perfect. And she is learning very quickly too. Daddy Loves her! He was kinda hesitant for a while about her, but now they are inseparable....it's so cute! We went to the vet today... Abby didn't like the vet too much when she took her temperature....or did the fecal swab to check for worms. Poor puppy. She is in great health, and they say she should be ready to be fixed next month, as soon as her adult teeth finish coming in. Hagrid gets along with her alright, time will tell more on that. He is just jealous right now, but once he realizes that she is a member of the family, he will get over it. And we are giving him plenty of attention to compensate for the change. And he does try to play with her sometimes...but she is still kinda frightened by him. Taht will change too. :)

4 More Days

I am counting down the days until my BabyLove comes home. I have arrangements to have the house cleared for 3 whole days after he comes home, mebbe longer.... :)
I was talking with a coworker of his in Iraq on the IM, and he said that BabyLove was running around screaming about the invading potato people....I said he was suffering from sun sickness...that I had an old family remedy, but all I could tell him was that it involved a virgin sacrifice, a horny toad, and some peach perserves, the rest was an old family secret. Did I mention that this coworker used to be my husband's supervisor? :)

Uhm...Ooops

My friend tat I helped him clear military housing sent his wife and son home to Ohio due to medical problems on her part, he didnt want her to be alone while he was deployed. So I got stuck helping him. Well, yesterday we cleared housing, got inspected, etc. Weeeeeellll, after we finished, we came back to my house where he is staying until he deploys on the 13th. He needed to shower and get into uniform and go back to work. I was on the phone with his wife, and she said something about how he said I would cook this weekend when they all came down to say goodbye, well, i heard the waterrunning in the bathroom ad I have a dark blue opaque shower cutain in there, so I whipped open the door to yell at him for voleneering me without talking to me, and he is sitting naked on the toilet. I screamed, slammed the door shut, and she is asking me what's wrong. I tell her. She has me on speakerphone and their 3 year old son is laughing hysterically. "Auntie saw Daddy naked while he was poopin." Yeah, I will NEVER do that again.

I talked to her today, she said the their son is still saying that and laughing hysterically.

Early Start

I always seem to forget that I *really* am not a morning person, yet there always seem to be reasons for me to get up at oh-dark-thirty. Like today, I am graciously helping a friend clear military housing to go to Iraq, but that seems to involve me being up at 6:30 am. What in the world was I thinking!!! :) It's all good though. I am crazy and will think of ways of extracting my revenge. :)

As you all who are close to me know, Ihave been trying to lose weight for the past ...oh...lifetime. Well I went top the gym today and walked for 25minutes, walked about 2.5 miles. Congrats to me! I didn't do any of the weights cause I still don't feel well, my brother shared with me yet again, a chest cold or sinus infection, not sure which yet.

More Good News!

I have some more really good news!!!!  I got to talk to my BabyLove yesterday morning!!!  He called me and we got to talk for about 15 minutes before he had to go.  The date for his homecoming is still the same, which is very good.  I can hardly wait until March 10th!  Hopefully the date doesn’t change at all.
I also got in touch with a friend of mine from High School, and we have made arrangements with my sister to meet up at our high school reunion.  It’s our ten-year reunion.  Where has the time gone?  By now I thought I would have had so much accomplished and it doesn’t feel like I have accomplished any where near what I thought I would have.  I guess the time just flies by without any notice.  I Hereby Demand That Time Gives Me More Notice Before It Just Flies By!!!!  It seems like just yesterday I was being inducted into The Society For People Who Wear Leiderhosen And Act Really Really Strange.

Kinda Sad

I was forced to drop my really cool Ethics of War and Peace class. I have been under the weather alot lately, so now it is just geology. I know they are prolly gonna change the date of my hubby's return, so instead of actually counting down days, I am just thinking "soon". I figure that's safer, that way I dont get my hopes up and the date doesnt keep changing. :)
Oh well, more later.

Update

Those close to me will know that for a long time i have been talking about getting a tattoo. Well, I finally got it done on impulse tonight, but not the one I have been talking about. Instead, I got a very small Japanese character for wife done on the back of my neck. I figure it is one of the most important things in my life, and soemthing I am very proud of, and something I take very seriously. I figure when the tim eis right, I will o back and have one for mother put on the other side, but I have to become a mother first...and that's still a ways off, must become a godmother first, maybe I will be the fairy godmother... :)

Friday, February 10, 2006

Good News!!!

I got to talk to my BabyLove on the phone and on the computer twice tonight!!!!  A tentative date for his return is March 10!!!  YEAH!!!!  I am so happy, just had to share that with everyone!

Weird News Yet Again

The news just keeps getting weirder…

What does one look for in a mate?
TORONTO (Reuters) - When it comes to romance, women prefer someone who tickles their funny bone while men opt for those who catch their eye, according to an international survey released on Wednesday.
The survey, conducted in 16 countries by Canadian romance publisher Harlequin Enterprises, asked men and women on six continents about traits they liked or disliked and how they went about trying to meet Mr. or Ms. Right.
The poll revealed differences between countries in the way people tried to impress the opposite sex.
Australians and British men frequently admitted drinking too much, while about half of German and Italian men said they had lied about their finances. Spaniards were the most likely to use sex to catch someone's attention.
Eighty percent of Brazilian and Mexican men said they had lied about their marital or relationship status, as did 70 percent of German women, the survey said.
When it came to meeting that special someone, a majority of respondents preferred to rely on friends for introductions. The Internet was not a popular hunting ground except in Portugal, where about half the surveyed men and women opted to find people online.
Both Spain and France suffered a gender gap. Thirty percent of Spanish men, but no Spanish women, looked for love online. In France, 40 percent of men but only 10 percent of women attended parties, bars and clubs to meet someone, but they did have one thing in common: both sexes rated looks as more important than their counterparts in other countries.
When it came to that first meeting, a majority of men polled said beauty was more important than brains, while women put a sense of humor at the top of their list.
Physical attraction was the top priority for men in France, Brazil, Greece, Japan and Britain. And while 40 percent of Portuguese men rated intelligence over looks in a first encounter, no Australian men did so.
In the United States and Canada, humor was considered the most important trait by both men and women, getting 63 and 73 percent of the vote respectively.

I guess the spell doesn’t work forever…

TOKYO (Reuters) - Police found a stun gun and tear gas Friday at the Tokyo home of a man who said he persuaded 11 younger women to live with him by chanting a spell, media reports said.
Police suspect he used the weapons to prevent the women, mainly in their 20s, from leaving, the reports said.
Hirohito Shibuya, 57, was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening a 20-year-old woman who was reluctant to join the commune by telling her that if she left she would be turned to mincemeat, they said.
He denied threatening the woman, Kyodo news agency said, adding that he also allegedly told her he was a former senior officer in Japan's military with secret agents around him.
Shibuya, a bald, rotund man with bags under his eyes, has attracted heavy media attention this week after claiming he chanted a spell to attract the women.
He had married and divorced several of the women, who continued to live with him, the reports said.
Asked what the incantation was, he told a newspaper: "When you say it, even unattractive men become attractive. But I won't say it because if I do, I'll die."
Police confiscated several books on hypnosis from his home, Kyodo said
Remembering traditions does not mean living them everyday…

HARARE (Reuters) - Zimbabwean twins who became media celebrities for appearing in public wearing nothing but traditional African goatskin loincloths have been detained pending trial for indecent exposure.
Harare magistrate Mishrod Guvamombe also ordered the 22-year-old brothers, dubbed the "Terrible Twins" by local newspapers, to undergo psychiatric evaluation, the official Herald newspaper said Friday.
The men, Tafadzwanashe and Tapiwanashe Fichani, raised eyebrows last month when they went to an upscale Harare shopping mall clad only in brief loincloths -- leading several shocked shoppers to call the police.
The twins said they were making a statement by appearing in traditional African clothing dating back to pre-colonial times.
State prosecutors disagreed and lodged a case of indecent exposure against them, a position the Herald said was backed by the head of Zimbabwe's National Traditional Healers' Association.
"We have failed to see how their actions conform to our culture," association president Gordon Chavunduka told the newspaper. "Dressing of that nature is now reserved for special traditional and cultural occasions, not everywhere."
The twins were denied bail and ordered back to court for trial on February 2.

More News of the Weird

Well, there you have it, never try to place a curse on a supreme being….

NAIROBI (Reuters) - A starving Kenyan woman placed a powerful tribal curse on God, accusing him of sending famine, and died in her sleep, local newspapers said Thursday.
The woman from eastern Kenya's drought-ravaged Kangundo district decided to invoke a dreaded oath from the Kamba community, famed for its potent witchcraft, media reports said.
"Whoever brought this famine, let him perish," the woman chanted, striking a cooking pot with a stick.
"She accomplished the feat at 10 a.m. and waited for the results, but God's wrath struck at night. She died peacefully in her sleep," the Kenya Times newspaper said.
Poor rains for three years running have left more than 3.5 million Kenyans on the edge of starvation, prompting President Mwai Kibaki to declare the drought a national disaster.

News of the Weird

Hmmm…. Well, there goes that cure for hiccups…
BOGOTA, Colombia (Reuters) - A Colombian man accidentally shot his nephew to death while trying to cure his hiccups by pointing a revolver at him to scare him, police in the Caribbean port city of Barranquilla said on Tuesday.
After shooting 21-year-old university student David Galvan in the neck, his uncle, Rafael Vargas, 35, was so distraught he turned the gun on himself and committed suicide, police said.
The incident took place on Sunday night while the two were having drinks with neighbors.
Galvan started to hiccup and Vargas, who works as a security guard, said he would use the home remedy for hiccups of scaring him. He pulled out his gun, pointed it at Galvan and it accidentally went off, witnesses told local television.
“They were drinking but they were aware of what was going on,” one witness said

And who says dreams don’t come true, sometimes they just need a little force behind them…
TOKYO (Reuters) - A middle-aged Tokyo man found to be living with 10 younger women said he attracted them by reciting an incantation that came to him in a dream.
The 57-year-old man’s unusual living arrangements came to light when another woman complained to police that he had threatened her after she refused to join his harem, Kyodo news agency said Wednesday.
“I had a dream that told me I would become attractive to women if I recited a particular incantation,” it quoted the man as saying.
A rapid series of weddings and divorces left the man with a large group of ex-wives, mostly in their 20s and 30s, who shared his surname and continued to live with him.

Uhm…YUCK!!!
MELBOURNE (Reuters) - An Australian couple could reap a fragrant fortune after what they thought was an odd-looking tree stump turned out to be a rare lump of ambergris, a whale excretion used in perfumes and known as “floating gold.”
Loralee and Leon Wright were walking along a remote beach near Streaky Bay in western South Australia state on a fishing trip three weeks ago when they saw the strange object.
Intrigued, they took a closer look and Leon Wright, thinking it could have been some kind of cyst from a large marine animal, suggested they take the 32 pound lump home.
“She said ‘You’re not putting that thing in my car’,” the Australian Broadcasting Corp. quoted marine ecologist Ken Jury as saying on its Web site (www.abc.net.au) Wednesday.
Curiosity eventually got the better of the Wrights. Unable to find an answer on the Internet, they went back and got it two weeks later and described it to Jury.
“It immediately struck me as being ambergris—it couldn’t be anything else,” Jury said.
“It’s actually belched out by the animal, would you believe, and those few across the world that have witnessed that or heard it say it’s quite remarkable ... apparently the sound of it travels for miles across the water,” he said.
Jury, who is acting for the family, said ambergris can fetch between $20-$65 a gram, The Age newspaper reported on Wednesday. That would make the Wrights’ find worth at least
$295,000.
Used in perfumes by ancient Egyptians and mythologized in literary classics like Herman Melville’s “Moby Dick,” ambergris is spewed out of the intestines of sperm whales.
Scientists theorize it is produced to aid in the removal of hard, sharp objects like squid beaks that whales may eat.
The waxy, foul-smelling substance is lighter than water and can float for years, during which time it is cleansed by the sun and salt water and becomes hard, dark and waxy and develops a rich musky smell prized by perfumers around the world.
“The Egyptians used it. Certainly the Chinese did and they not only used it in perfumes, but they used to eat it and they used to give it as gifts,” Jury said.

Ethics of War and Peace

We started off my Ethics of War and Peace class with a bang.  We started a discussion on whether Hitler’s generals were war criminals or prisoners of war.  Oh boy.  That opened a can of worms, to say the least.  We had to define the difference and then look at each case individually.  Some people said no matter what they were all war criminals, some people said no matter what they were all prisoners of war, and some looked at the cases individually and disagreed with everyone else.  We also looked back at Thucydides presentation of the Athenian generals confronting the city council of the island city-state of Melios.

Ode to Peaches

Ode to Peaches

Here's to Peaches,
A fuzzy little cat,
Who is Heaven now
Due to some prat.

A cuddly little

Kitten was he,
Never carrying
Animosity.

On Earth, he was
Greatly loved,
Fit into his home
Like a hand to a glove.

In Heaven
May the same be true
As he finds
His home anew

Here's to the begining of a new semester

My classes start tomorrow. I have a teacher I haven't had before and one I have had before. I kinda know what to expect from one, the class is The Ethics of War and Peace, and the other Ihave no idea what she will require, that class is Physical Geology. I really don't like not knowing what to expect, but it isn't going to stop me from going to school for my degree, I guess I will jsut get really nervous before class and then go into it.
My gym buddy circle looks like it is going to go from two people to four people, should be fun. We are all women, so we can encourage each other without any weirdness. :)
Oh well, I guess it is about bed time for me.

Home

I am finally home!! I love my family, love spending time with them, but there is something about being home that can not be beat. Maybe it is the fact that I can sleep in my own bed. Although I did come home to a refirigerator that had completely broke while I was gone and my AC unit is almost dead, but better I came home now than spend another month with my family and then come home to find it out....

Rambling Thoughts

I sometimes wonder what my dog, Hagrid, is thinking. Especially when he looks at me like I should know what he is thinking. I hope to one day interpret all of the signals and know what it is he is thinking. But then I will prolly get stuck behind the gender line. I won't know what he is thinking because I am not a he, I am a she. Oh well.

Ever wonder what it would be like to be a bird? being able to fly and swoop and divebomb. My bad luck, I would end up airsick.

I saw a painting the other day that I wish I had been in at the moment in time that it was painted. It was a lovely sunset on a beach with the mountains behind it. What was the artist thinking when he painted that picture. Probably had nothing to do with chickens, I bet.

Curiosity drives me nuts sometimes. Why wonder all these things if I will never be able to know the answers to these questions.

Yule Time and a Happy New Year!

Ahhh...it's finally over and we can all now relax. I went to New York to visit family, it was the first time in almost 25 years that all my mother's siblings were together at Yule. It was nice. I got to build a snowman and have a snowball fight, and then I called Myjic and rubbed it in that I got to play in the snow. Then a few days later, she called me, as my family and I were driving through a blizzard, and bragged that she was walking on the beach without her shoes in 80 degree weather. By that time, I think I was entirely sick of snow and being cold that I told her to hush. :) Luv ya' Myjic! I had a good time before I went to New York as well. Myjic, Cowboy, Forestcrow, and I gathered over at Myjic's house for our annual Birthday/Yule party. It was nice being back with my sisters, even if I did get a terrible head cold that night that lasted for a week. :) Then New Year's Eve was a blast as well. Again, it was at Myjic's house with the addition of Jade and Vlad, add acohol and explosives to that mix and it was quite an evening! :D I put a mortor firework type deal in thechamber upside down by accident and got the daylights scared out of me when the chamber exploded at the bottom. Did you all know that the Predator brand artillery fireworks give you really good chambers made out of more than just cardboard. They reenforce those chambers with fiberglass. I was told I wasn't allowed to touch the Predators after that. I can't figure out why....
